We created the Pavilion’s visual identity and applied it across the pavilion design, building a space that is vibrant, eye-catching and impossible to ignore. Each year the look is refreshed to keep the Pavilion current while staying true to its brand. Alongside the physical space we produced supporting assets, including signage, social media templates and a dedicated website. Photos via UNFCCC.
Change
Youth voices are often overlooked in global climate negotiations. The Children and Youth Pavilion was established as the first official space at COP dedicated to children and young people, providing a platform to showcase their leadership and demands. The Pavilion needed an identity and design that would stand out among the noise of COP, grabbing attention and signalling the power of youth in climate action.
Makers
For three years, we collaborated with a range of young, environmentally committed designers to shape the Pavilion. Their creativity and authenticity ensured that the design truly reflected the voices it represents. The visual strategy and user experience were led by our Managing Director, ensuring the Pavilion’s design not only looked striking but also worked seamlessly as a space for debate, storytelling and advocacy.
Impact
The Children and Youth Pavilion has become a landmark at COP, drawing the attention of negotiators, media and civil society. It has provided a visible and impactful platform for youth climate advocates to connect with global leaders and amplify their demands. The Pavilion is now recognised as an essential part of COP, symbolising the energy, urgency and vision that young people bring to the climate movement.
