Bespoke training sessions, delivered on Zoom by Maker Change’s Creative Director to cohorts of UK climate organisations, covering strategy, messaging and digital campaigning.

Change
Media Trust runs a six month strategic communications and campaigning programme for charities working on climate justice and community climate action. They needed expert-led sessions to help participating organisations sharpen their messaging, plan effective campaigns and turn insight into action across channels. We were invited to design and deliver climate storytelling and campaigning workshops for the 2023 and 2024 cohorts.
Makers
Training was led by our Creative Director, an experienced strategist and behaviour change specialist, with live facilitation on Zoom for up to 20 organisations per cohort. We supplemented delivery with practical toolkits and templates, and provided live feedback during exercises to ensure concepts landed and could be applied immediately.
Impact
Participants gained a practical structure for planning campaigns and a clearer, audience first way to frame climate stories. The sessions improved confidence with digital tactics and gave teams reusable tools for message testing, content planning and measurement. By the end of the workshops, each organisation had a draft campaign plan, a refined core message and an activation checklist they could implement immediately.
